Digging in the Dirt

We had a wonderful end to spring break at Ye Ye and Nai Nai's house. The weather was beautiful and we were able to get out in the yard and play in the dirt. Ye Ye has collected a lot of rocks from all over and had them scattered in his yard. He let Madeline dig them up, which is one of Madeline's favorite things to do. She was right in her element. She dug up about 25 to 30 rocks and some fossils as well and brought them home. We are going to make a little rock garden in the back corner under the bird feeder so Madeline can enjoy and dig up her rocks whenever she pleases. Amazingly enough, she did not get her white shirt dirty.
